Wednesday is World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

From nurses to teachers to grocery store workers, we salute the courage, commitment and heroic efforts of all workers on the front lines of COVID-19.

The pandemic has touched nearly every aspect of the world of work; from the threat of being exposed to the virus on the job, to shifts in working arrangements which have exposed workers to potential risks, including psychosocial challenges and increased domestic violence.

Today, and every day, we are reminded of the importance of promoting a culture of safety and health in the workplace.
