Virginia Torrecilla

Virginia Torrecilla is a Spanish soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Club Atlético de Madrid in the Spanish First Division. Since October 2019 she is captain of the Spanish team, with which she debuted in 2013.

She is runner-up in Europe Under-19 and has participated in two European Cups and two World Cups. With FC Barcelona she won 3 leagues and 2 Queen's Cups.

Ten months after being operated on for a brain tumor, she has returned to training with her companions at the Wanda Sports Center.

Virginia is a clear example that we must fight for what we want, do not give up and be that light that enlightens others.
