Starting today until March 26, the Commission on the Status of Women will take place, this meeting will focus on examining progress, gaps and the establishment of a global roadmap to achieve gender equality and empowerment of women.
As a curious fact, I let you know that it was established on June 21, 1946 by the Economic and Social Council. The session will count with 13 members from Africa, 11 from Asia, 9 from Latin America and Caribbean, 8 from Western Europe and other States, and 4 from Eastern Europe.
